In this video clip Michael J. Lavery, ka, The Hammer Man of Golf demonstrates the ability to drive a golf ball off tees that are 15 inches and 12 inches high. The reason for this exercise is to help establish a flat downswing. You can see that it is necessary to have a shallow path to strike the ball properly. This really helps create the drop down into the slot approach. Notice the right elbow stays close to the body on the downswing and then the arms extend out for the ball. This extension is aided by the swing weight of his driver. The club measures 48 inches with a swing weight of G5. The MOI is extremely high and even a very short backswing produces awesome results with distance and accuracy. The Hammer’s approach to golf is to take athleticism to the game. Read his book Whole Brain Power and learn the secrets to better brain performance. The tenets of his program are outlined in his book.
